
Sarah Peele is a writer and actor whose feature screenplay Pure Intentions was a finalist for both the 2024 ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship and the 2024 CineStory Feature Fellowship. The script won the 2025 Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Competition and earned her a Writers Guild of America East Fellowship to attend the 2025 Stowe Story Lab.
As an actor, Sarah has appeared in national commercials for brands like Humira, Straight Talk Wireless, and Hilton. She has over a decade of experience in comedy, performing sketch and improv at venues including The Upright Citizens Brigade, The People’s Improv Theater, and comedy festivals in New York, Chicago, and Boston.
Originally from Arkansas, Sarah studied theater in Missouri and has lived in New York City her entire adult life. She went to elementary school in a church basement, which means she still has trouble with math and science but can sing all the books of the New Testament on command.
